About AwareHub

AwareHub exists because Dr Lisa Myers wanted a different kind of mental health practice: inclusive, multidisciplinary, and built so that looking after your mental health feels less threatening and more like somewhere you would actually choose to be.

Our story

Lisa opened the first AwareHub clinic in Bondi Junction in 2021, bringing psychiatrists, psychologists, a neuropsychologist, a dietitian and occupational therapy together under one roof, alongside a yoga studio, an art room and a gym. The idea was simple and slightly stubborn: expert clinical care and a genuinely calming space are not opposites, and clients do better when they get both.

In December 2024 AwareHub opened in Bundaberg, bringing TMS to the Wide Bay region for the first time, and the practice is now growing towards Hervey Bay and Rockhampton. The community feel travels with it. We are LGBTIQ+ friendly and a Transgender Safe Space, and clients of every age walk through our doors.

Our premises

Both clinics were designed and built to do a job that most medical rooms do not attempt: to feel safe, calm and comfortable while still holding the professionalism and cleanliness of a medical practice. We engaged some of Australia's finest designers and building teams to get there.

The AwareHub logo is an octagon, and it resembles the Bagua. The symbol comes from Feng Shui, where its eight corners stand for the different parts of a life that need attention to stay in balance. Our own Hub is only half that octagon, deliberately, because the point is the ongoing work of self acceptance rather than any arrival at perfection. That room is where clients have TMS and ketamine treatment.

We created an environment that would feel secure, soothing and inviting, but more importantly demonstrate the respect we have for our clients, who take the time and make the financial investment into their mental health. AwareHub is their safe space and community, and we hope it will become yours too.Dr Lisa Myers
